Summer Streets: Brooklyn & The Bronx
About this event
NYC DOT's car-free celebration heads to Brooklyn and the Bronx, opening major corridors to walkers, runners and cyclists from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In Brooklyn the route follows Eastern Parkway from Grand Army Plaza to Buffalo Avenue; in the Bronx it opens the Grand Concourse from East Tremont Avenue to Mosholu Parkway. Expect live performances, free fitness classes, interactive art installations and giveaways along the way. Attending is free with no registration; the NYRR Start Line Series running event along the route requires separate free registration.
