Find your next thing to do.

Search experiences, articles, events, and weekend guides.

Search across everything we publish about New York City — every experience, article, weekend guide, and upcoming event in one place. The 7Days7Nights index covers all five boroughs and every neighborhood we cover regularly: SoHo, the East Village, the Lower East Side, Williamsburg, Bushwick, DUMBO, Greenpoint, Long Island City, Astoria, Jackson Heights, Flushing, Park Slope, Crown Heights, Harlem, Washington Heights, Inwood, and dozens more.

How NYC search works here

Type a neighborhood ("Williamsburg"), a category ("rooftop", "speakeasy", "ramen", "comedy"), a borough, a season ("summer"), a vibe ("date night", "rainy day", "hidden gem"), or an event name. We match against titles, descriptions, categories, locations, and tags simultaneously, so a search for Brooklyn jazz surfaces both the Sunday night jam session in Crown Heights and the Friday quintet in Fort Greene without you needing to know either venue by name.

What's in the index

Experiences are the long-term recommendations — places that earn a spot on the site because they're reliably worth your time. Events are the dated picks: a one-night concert, an art opening, a seasonal market, a parade. Weekend guides are the 48-hour itineraries we write a few times a month for a specific neighborhood or theme. And articles are the editorial side — interviews with operators, deep dives on a single block, history pieces that make a familiar corner look different on the way home.

Search tips

For best results, search the way you'd ask a friend who lives in the city: short, specific, with one or two intent words. "Date night Williamsburg" works better than "romantic restaurants for a Friday in Brooklyn." If you're not finding what you want, try a category instead of a venue name — search natural wine instead of a single bar name, or rooftop sunset instead of a specific hotel. And if you're planning a visit, search the season you'll be in town: many of our best entries are weather-locked.
