KPop Demon Hunters Free Screening + Q&A

SVA Theatre in Chelsea screens Netflix's Oscar-winning animated hit KPop Demon Hunters for free on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 2 PM, followed by a Q&A with production designer Dave Bleich (SVA BFA 1992 Illustration), moderated by current SVA student Matt Leung. The feature is preceded by the NYC premiere of the animated short First Haircut by Disney·Pixar artist Ivo Kos. The screening is part of After School Special, SVA's annual alumni film and animation festival running September 23–27, 2026. Admission is free and open to the public, but plan for the seating rules: all festival events are first come, first served, RSVPs through the Eventbrite page are appreciated but do not guarantee entry, and doors open roughly 30 minutes before the screening. The film is rated PG and children under 3 may not be admitted. SVA Theatre is at 333 West 23rd Street, a short walk from the 23rd St C/E and 1 trains.
