The Amazing Maize Maze at Queens County Farm Museum
Glen Oaks / Floral Park, Queens
NYC's only corn maze: solve clues through 3 acres of towering cornstalks at this working 47-acre farm in Queens, weekends through Nov 1, 2026.
The Amazing Maize Maze returns to Queens County Farm Museum for the 2026 fall season, cutting a fresh 3-acre labyrinth into the farm's cornfields. Visitors start with a "Stalk Talk" orientation before setting off to find clues, solve puzzles, and make their way to Victory Bridge, where a panoramic view of the maze's design is finally revealed.
It runs Saturdays and Sundays from August 30 through November 1, 2026 (plus an extra day on October 12), 11am to 4pm with last entry at 4pm. On October 3 and 4 the maze is available as a ticket add-on for the Queens Agricultural Fair, and it's included with admission on Saturday, October 31 for Halloween on the Farm. For a different kind of challenge, Maze by Moonlight brings flashlight-guided maze runs on two nights only — Saturday, October 10 and Saturday, October 17 — from 6pm to 10pm (last entry 9:30pm).
Set on the farm's 47-acre historic grounds, the maze is part of a working agricultural site that's been cultivated since 1697, giving the outing a genuine harvest-season backdrop beyond the puzzle itself.
**Tickets & prices:** $17 adults; $10 children ages 3–11; free for children 2 and under. Maze by Moonlight: $20 general admission. Book via the [official site](https://queensfarm.ticketspice.com/2026-amazing-maize-maze).

The story behind The Amazing Maize Maze at Queens County Farm Museum.
Queens County Farm Museum occupies the city's largest remaining tract of undisturbed farmland, in continuous agricultural use since 1697 and operated today as a nonprofit, 47-acre working farm. The grounds include the 1750s Adriance (Cornell) Farmhouse, a New York City Landmark and National Register site, alongside livestock, planting fields, and vintage farm equipment.
Each fall the farm transforms several acres of its cornfields into The Amazing Maize Maze, a seasonal puzzle attraction sponsored by Con Edison that has become a signature Queens tradition. The maze design changes from year to year, and the event anchors the farm's broader fall programming, which also includes the Queens County Agricultural Fair and Halloween on the Farm.
It's the only corn maze within the five boroughs — a surprisingly rural, puzzle-solving escape just off the Long Island Expressway. Bring the whole family on a weekend afternoon, or come back for the flashlight-lit Maze by Moonlight nights for a spookier, grown-up-friendly twist.
