Queens' hands-on science museum in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, with hundreds of interactive exhibits for all ages.
The New York Hall of Science (NYSCI) is New York City's hands-on science and technology center, set in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in a landmark building from the 1964 World's Fair.
It's open Tuesday through Sunday, 10am–5pm, with hundreds of interactive exhibits on physics, biology, math and design, plus a large outdoor science playground in warmer months.

The story behind New York Hall of Science.
NYSCI was founded at the 1964–65 World's Fair, and its undulating Great Hall remains one of the fair's architectural survivors.
Today it serves hundreds of thousands of visitors and students each year.
Kids (and grown-ups) can touch, build and experiment with almost everything — a joyful counterpoint to look-don't-touch museums.
