About this event
Spend Saturday night looking at the sky from the Hudson River waterfront. Experts from the Amateur Astronomers Association set up telescopes at Pier I in Riverside Park South and help visitors observe stars, planets and other objects visible over New York City. It runs 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM and is completely free with no registration. Arrive before sunset, walk the waterfront, then stay for stargazing after dark — a very different alternative to the usual Saturday-night bar plan.
