100th Annual Feast of San Gennaro
About this event
The Feast of San Gennaro returns to Little Italy for its 100th annual edition, filling Mulberry Street with an eleven-day celebration of Italian American food, faith and neighborhood tradition. Visitors can browse street vendors, sample festival favorites and experience one of September’s defining downtown gatherings. Admission to the street festival is free, while food and attractions are purchased separately. The feast stretches from Canal Street toward Houston Street, so comfortable shoes and an off-peak visit can make exploring easier. Weekend evenings are typically busiest. Check the official festival site for the current entertainment, procession and religious-event schedule before heading downtown. Come for the food, stay for the historic streetscape, and pair the visit with more Food & Drink discoveries nearby.
