About this event
Five-time Grammy Award winner Angélique Kidjo brings her globally influenced sound to Central Park for a free Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage performance at Rumsey Playfield. This is the type of NYC summer experience people normally expect to pay for: a major international artist performing outdoors in Central Park at no cost. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the show runs roughly 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Free SummerStage shows of this profile draw large crowds, so arrive well before showtime for a good viewing position.
