When I first saw the trailer for this movie, it immediately took me back to my childhood… I had a toy called Rock em Sock em Robots…(this toy came out in the 60’s but it was still around in the 70’s so I ain’t that damn old rofl) Anyway, I thought it was all about these big robots fighting. But I was surprised when I saw the movie and there was a real story intertwined. A story about about responsibility…a story about a bond between father and son.
The robots are cool too but I always look for the heart in a movie… don’t get me wrong, at some points in the movie I felt like I was watching a real extra heavy weight fight, but the heart of the movie was what made me smile in the end. I think I enjoyed it more than my kids!
Bottom line this movie is worth checking out…its Rocky meets Transformers! So if you enjoyed either of those movies, you’ll love this one!
