This year Mike Mogul and Tim Grae did it again!! The 3rd annual bowling event was a success and a fun time for all.
Over 100 guests packed into the Chelsea Piers 300 Club in support of finding a cure for breast cancer.
Staggering statistics:
-About 1 in 8 women in the United States (12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.
-In 2010, an estimated 207,090 new cases of invasive breast cancer were expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S., along with 54,010 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer.
-About 1,970 new cases of invasive breast cancer were expected to be diagnosed in men in 2010. Less than 1% of all new breast cancer cases occur in MEN!!
Over $1,500 dollars was collected as some of New York’s nightlife elite gathered in support. There were cocktails and plenty of food. Custom cupcakes were provided by Deanna Nicole of Brown Girl Baking.
Although breast cancer is serious and everyone knows someone who has been affected, there were many fun moments that made the night memorable. One moment in particular was when Mike Mogul apparently went down the lane to ‘fix’ something and the entire staff, including the chef from the kitchen ran onto the lane after him! Ok…maybe not the chef but there were at least 5 people out there in less than 10 seconds! No cuffs…no harm…no problems…
Tim Grae said “On behalf of my mamma, I wanna thank all who came out to the Cancer Bowl part 3″ He also gave special shout outs to DJ Ominaya, dj snatch1 and DJ Triple X for Playing for FREE and Rocking the crowd all evening.
The following morning, Mike Mogul added “last night was amazing with a great turn out, thank you guys so much …”
